2024 Wnba Draft Order By Team

2024 WNBA Draft Order: From Fever at No. 1 to Las Vegas at No. 36

Indiana Fever Secure Top Pick with Iowa Star Caitlin Clark

The 2024 WNBA Draft kicked off with a bang on Monday, as the Indiana Fever selected Iowa superstar and back-to-back Naismith Player of the Year Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick. Clark, a dynamic guard, is considered one of the most talented prospects in recent WNBA history.

The Fever, who finished last season with a league-worst 5-29 record, are hoping that Clark's arrival will jump-start their rebuilding efforts. The 6-foot-1 playmaker averaged 27.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game for Iowa during the 2023-24 season.

Aces Land Talented Center at No. 36

At the other end of the draft, the Las Vegas Aces secured a promising prospect at No. 36 in center Emily Engstler of Louisville. Standing at 6-foot-2, Engstler is a versatile defender with a strong inside presence. She averaged 10.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game for the Cardinals this past season.
